This is a Hawaiian vegan restaurant project that I made for school. They were classified as casual, healthy
and youthful restaurant, located in North York
of Toronto. I drew inspiration from the abstract elements in Andy Warhol's art.
The focus is on patterns native to Hawaii; specifically the Oahu yellow flower, the pineapple,
and the swatch colour palette chosen. Coming from the 1960’s and 70’s, there was a lot of influence from the psychedelic and
retro, hippie era, which I drew from. This will represent the brand’s identity, which is full of Summer fun, bright colours and setting new trend for authenticity and showcasing Oahu’s culture. The name of the restaurant is The Surfing Vegan.
The name is reflective of the theme, which is a fun, casual and relaxed illustrations.
